PALM COAST, Fla. - The third annual NPL Showcase for top NPL girls teams has kicked off at Indian Trails Sports Complex. The event features '98/'99, '00 and '01 teams from Northeast, Southeast and Central states.
A total of 104 college coaches from 74 programs are making the showcase part of their recruiting efforts.
Among the highlights of this year's event is the return of complimentary live streaming on the final day of the showcase. StreamSports, the Official Video Services Provider of the NPL Showcase, will live stream a trio of '00 matchups on Dec. 31 (updates below):

- VA Rush (Va.) 3, Bayside FC (R.I.) 2
- Connecticut FC (Conn.) 2, JAYFC Armada (Fla.) 1

Saturday, Dec. 31:
The final day of the NPL Showcase brings another flurry of games in sunny Florida, highlighted by the three aforementioned live streamed games. You may watch the games in the video player below.
Friday, Dec. 30:
After temperatures reached 70 degrees yesterday, the second day of the NPL Showcase brought much cooler conditions, as temperatures struggled to reach the mid-50s.
Another 30 games were played today among four time slots. Through the first two days, here are the teams that have won both their matchups:

Thursday, Dec. 29:
The 2016 NPL Showcase kicked off to ideal weather conditions - an especially welcome setting for all the clubs coming from Central and Northeast regions.
A total of 30 games were played today in slots of 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Head over to the US Club Soccer Facebook page and bookmark the photo gallery, which will continue to be updated.
Of all the games so far, 14 have been decided by two goals or fewer, including seven ties. The oldest bracket - 98/99s - has proven to be the most competitive, albeit by a small sample size. Five games were played on opening day, and two ended in ties and another in a 1-0 result. The other two finished 7-4 (PDA Florida over CFC United) and 4-0 (Cedar Stars Academy over Chargers SC).
