SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (Sept. 13, 2016) - The Northern Illinois Soccer League (NISL) officially kicked off its inaugural girls NPL season last month at Olympic Park in Schaumburg. Twelve games were played in a high-energy atmosphere with several college coaches in attendance to scout the 98/99 age group.
Fifteen clubs from the Chicago area participate in the league with champions qualifying to the 2017 NPL Finals, of which the dates and location will be announced soon.
NISL is also hosting seven PDP events in the next two months and has already held two this season.
