NEP, NYCSL to host inter-PDP girls showcase in December

DANBURY, Conn. (Nov. 30, 2017) – The New England Premiership (NEP) and New York Club Soccer League (NYCSL) are collaborating on an inter-PDP girls showcase, Dec. 17 in Connecticut, which will feature 2003-04 girls.

Top players from recent PDPs hosted by the NEP and NYCSL will compete at the Danbury Sports Dome in Danbury, Conn. Eighteen players from each age group will participate – 2004s kick off at 1 p.m. ET and 2003s at 2:30 p.m. ET.

“Both the NYCSL & NEP are determined to provide all players selected for PDP with continuing identification and development opportunities,” said John Curtis, NYCSL Technical Director and NEP PDP Director. “Events like this will become more regular, as the programs develop.”

NEP and NYCSL both include National Premier Leagues (NPL) levels of competition at their top of their programming – in addition to extending other opportunities, including PDPs and Players First.
