CHARLESTON, S.C. (May 29, 2018) - 12 teams across seven clubs have taken home Red River NPL championships for the 2017-18 season.
Arkansas Comets, Oklahoma Celtic, South Lakes SC, TSC Hurricane and West Side Alliance led the way with two division championships each. City FC, and Liverpool FC America each brought home one title.
Here are the 2017-18 Red River NPL champions:
- Boys 13-U: TSC Hurricane 05B Umelo
- Girls 13-U: Liverpool 05G
- Boys 14-U: Arkansas Comets 04B Premier
- Girls 14-U: South Lakes SC 04 Elite
- Boys 15-U: Arkansas Comets 03 Premier
- Girls 15-U: Oklahoma Celtic 03
- Boys 16-U: City FC 02
- Girls 16-U: Oklahoma Celtic 02 West
- Boys 17-U: West Side Alliance 01 White
- Girls 17-U: South Lakes SC Cosmos 01 Elite
- Boys 19-U: West Side Alliance '00 White
- Girls 19-U: TSC Hurricane 99 Bolding
Now those 12 teams will gear up for their respective national postseason competitions. All girls champions will compete in the 2018 Girls NPL Finals, July 12-16, at the Aurora Sports Park in Aurora, Colo.
The boys winners in the 15-U, 16-U and 17-U divisions have qualifed to the 2018 Boys Western NPL Finals, to be held June 29-July 3, in San Diego, Calif. The 19-U boys age group will travel to participate in the 19-U NPL Finals, June 29-July 3 in Lancaster, Mass. The winners from 13-U and 14-U divisions have punched a ticket to the National Cup XVII Finals, July 20-24 in Aurora, Colo.
