On Jan. 12, 2012 at the NSCAA Convention in Kansas City, Mo., US Club Soccer gave a presentation entitled Integrating Competition Platforms, Player Identification Programs, & Club Development in American Youth Soccer. With a focus on the National Premier Leagues, this discussion emphasizes the importance of creating local, regional and national programs that integrate multiple components of the youth soccer platform in order to meet all the needs of clubs, coaches and players. These components include competition programs, player identification and development programs, and club development programs. The synergies of a unified and integrated youth soccer concept will be discussed as they relate to improving the player experience and elevating the standards to which clubs and coaches aspire and are held.
