The second day of competition had much better weather conditions with sun in the morning and light winds throughout.

A steady contingent of college coaches continued to watch games from the sideline.

A quick, unexpected change in the weather presented a challenging opening day of games. Instead of warm, sunny Florida conditions, temperatures dipped to the 50s with strong winds making it feel much colder.

Seven games at the 9 a.m. slot kicked off the 2014-15 NPL Showcase with additional games following at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
